Participating in the YMCA’s OBX Polar Plunge is a blast and the money you raise does make a difference. The $35 registration fee can be paid either by you or others who sponsor you. Help the YMCA reach it’s fund-raising goal by asking your friends and family to sponsor you in the plunge!

POLAR PLUNGING TIPS:

  1. Learn how the money you raise makes a difference.
  2. Download the OBX Polar Plunge registration form.
  3. Ask your friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor you.
  4. Consider a wacky costume because there will be prizes!
  5. Check in @12 noon with your registration form & pledge money.
  6. Ready…1, 2, 3…PLUNGE! at 1:00 pm.
  7. Bring a picnic and hang out on the beach with friends.
  8. Warm up and relax in one of the hot tubs on location.
  9. Don’t forget to bring some warm clothes.
  10. Sport your cool new OBX Polar Plunge t-shirt the Outback Steakhouse as you enjoy your complimentary dinner after the plunge.
